How It Works

The Drunk Watch (Function)

What needs to be inside to make wireless work?
Needs a battery and circuit board. Battery will be very small- though larger then a watch battery as it is needed to charge all of the functions.
Watch strap buckle OR stretchy band?
Stretchy band. One size fits most. Easier to slide on and off then worry about a buckle especially if drunk.
Buttons? Connected to what inside?
The buttons will be individually connected by wires which connect to the circuit board. Connecting them to the circuit board allows the interaction to be received and then transmitted.
To receive messages via wireless what do you need?
Will need a transmitter and a receiver as the messages are going both ways. This is very similar to some of the technology used in mobile phones- it allows the two users to have plenty of distance between them, whereas bluetooth and GPS are often limited how far apart they can be.

Materials

For the band?
Must be stretchy, therefore, an elastic material would be ideal as it is able to stretch enough to slide over the hand to get on/off. A non-absorbing material would be favoured ie. plastic or rubber which is able to stretch. Absorbent material wouldn't be ideal incase a drink/water was spilled onto it and would be instantly absorbed.
For the screen display?
Plastic. Must be strong so the outside appearance doesn't become damaged and must keep al components   secure inside.
Lights? LED's?
Small LED's will be chosen for this design. Must only provide enough light to illuminate the 'Drunk Graph' and colour the buttons so that when in a nightclub (dark environment) the buttons are already illuminated and there is no confusion which one needs to be pressed.

Components in place.
